MS Cast Notes from Tonight's Tech Rehearsal

Tonight was a good rehearsal! Here are notes from this evening:

• Bird Girls, we can tell you are working hard on your moves. Keep it up! Keep thinking about making each move sharp, in unison, which direction and/or beat you move on, using your face to smile, and keeping strong, loud, well-supported voices all while having fun and smizing! :)
• Bird girls keep your energy up!
• All Faces were dead in the beginning, keep your faces alive, your face matters MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE! Make your eyes be full of life, excitement, wonder, energy- really visualize what it is you are singing about. 
• Emily H stop playing with your hair when you are not dancing as Lil Roo
• Nice Matthew working with the Tv scene and getting the mic properly positioned. 
• Carly Tauber nice and loud-tonight- YAY! now make bigger choices with the body!
• Amalia Great Face in Bird Girl line.
• Rachel B going the wrong way in Amazing Mayzie BG line
• Maya keep working on sustaining your show face, Emily, and Caitlyn when you are bird girls remember this as well. Don't think so hard.  Show pizazz and spark on those gorgeous faces.
• Enter and exit ALWAYS in character!! 
• Don't act on your lines only, everyone actively listen and react to what is going on around you.
• If you have rhyming lines, watch getting sing-songy on lines
• JOJO- still make it more like a frustrated parent!! JOooooooooooJOJOOOOOOOOO! 
• Sam watch upstaging yourself in your scene
• ALL people with solo scenes and lines- please do not bunch up on each other give yourself space and keep cheated out to the audience.
• Connor AWESOME position at end of monkey dance 
• Rachel H keep your breath support on beginning of Notice Me Horton- you are tightening up too much- relax :) 
• Alex let's go over your harmony together with me and then you, rachel and me
• No TV on the skycam news- just microphone
• Lily pop correct leg/knee- I can't remember where this but we will go over tomorrow 
• Rachel H let more loose with body on tantrum and change up your hands some during your song
• Really  nice transformation on your tail growing- Rachel H good character work
• Alex need more elephant on stage, not Alex live in concert :)
